CEC REPORTS ON CONDITIONS FOR VOTING OF AZERBAIJANI CITIZENS RESIDING IN RUSSIA

Ministry of Foreign Affairs was assigned to attract Azerbaijanis residing abroad to voting. Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken a number of important steps on attraction of Azerbaijani voters living abroad to the elections. In particular, it was done for Azerbaijanis living in Russia. Some five polling stations were created in the territory of Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow and 3 - in Consulate General in St. Petersburg.

Election commission were instructed properly, and all favorable conditions for their activities were created, the stations are equipped with all necessary techniques, they release information for voters.

Beginning with October 1, information related to the elections has been on air of TV channel Inter-Azerbaijan 6 times a day in Azerbaijani and Russian languages. On October 3, the announcement in Azerbaijani and Russian was published in the Azerros newspaper. Information in two languages was placed at Internet sites of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, etc.

Besides, announcements connected with the elections have been placed in the hall of the Embassy, hostel and consulate department.
