CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION`S SEMINAR
On October 11, CEC held another seminar in the culture palace named after Shakhriyar. It was held for the Baku city and heads of district and divisional election commissions, embracing voters among IDPs settled in Baku.
Opening the seminar, Chairman of CEC Mazahir Panakhov informed the participants on recent stages of preparatory work. He underlined that seminars held by CEC brought good results, and added that now members of district and divisional election commissions have both theoretical and practical knowledge on elections.
Speaking to members of district and divisional election commissions, Panakhov underlined the necessity of performing all actions within the limits of the law on the day of elections.
Especially touching upon the issue, connected with monitors, Chairman of the Central Election Commission stressed, they should be given necessary conditions to observe the elections within the limits of their responsibilities.
Informing the participants of the seminar on the number of monitors, Panakhov announced that over 1000 was registered in the Central Election Commission, and over 30 thousand of local monitors - in districts, and 1000 of foreign monitors.
In conclusion, Mazahir Panakhov wished success to all members of district and divisional election commissions in their activities.
Further, Secretary of the CEC Vidady Mahmudov spoke on registration of voters in the list, completion of pre-election agitation, informing the voters at polling stations.
Secretary of the CEC Ingilab Nasirov made a report on voting, ballots and envelopes, resulting protocols and their submission to district election commission.
A member of the Central Election Commission Fuad Javadov informed the members of the function on fill in the protocol of district election commission and its submission according to the law side by side with other documents to CEC.
In conclusion, of the seminar, the CEC members answered the questions of the participants.
