CHINESE FLOODS KILL 35
Baku, June 16 (AZERTAC). Flooding in southern China has claimed the lives of at least 35 people this week, while another 50 are still missing.
Torrential rains and landslides have caused severe damage to the region, destroying thousands of homes and forcing the authorities to evacuate 100,000 people from the flood-hit areas.
Chinese meteorologists say the rainstorms are not likely to stop within the next few days.
