Chinese textbook to contribute to learning language
Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) hosted presentation of the first Chinese textbook published in Azerbaijan. The presentation was organized in the University’s Chinese Language and Culture Centre.
Rector of AUL, MP, Professor Samad Seyidov highlighted the role of centre, especially stressing activities of the Chinese Language and Culture Centre, in mastering the taught languages, and stressed the significance of events held there.
Expressing gratitude to the authors of the textbook, the rector stressed his confidence that the book would contribute to students’ learning of the Chinese language more deeply.
Ambassador of China to Azerbaijan Xun Tsiuin praised the teaching of the Chinese language in AUL and activities of the Chinese Language and Culture Centre. Stressing the importance of cooperation between AUL and the Chinese Embassy in Baku, the diplomat said their goal is to expand two countries’ friendly ties in educational, culture and other fields. Events of such kind reveal great opportunities for expanding cooperation in various fields.
