CIS declares 2029 Year of Transport Connectivity
Turkmenbashi, October 9, AZERTAC
The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) has decided to declare 2029 the Year of Transport Connectivity of the CIS, following an initiative by Turkmenistan at a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Awaza.
The participants also signed a number of documents aimed at further developing cooperation within the Commonwealth.
The documents include a protocol decision on holding the next meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers, a decision on the draft action plan for preparing and holding the Year of Legal Education in the CIS in 2027, and a decision on the plan for multilevel political consultations between the foreign ministries of CIS member states.
