Coca - Cola changes storage of the secret recipe
Baku, December 9 (AZERTAC). The company Coca-Cola has decided to change storage of the secret recipe of the special syrup which is in the basis of the worldwide popular refreshing soft drink.
The hand-written recipe of the basic component or the so-called preparation 7X will further be stored not in the bank in Atlanta, State of Georgia, but in the museum “Coca-Cola World” in the same city.
According to mass media, the company changes storage of the recipe first time within 86 years.
Now all museum visitors will be able to see the secret recipe - namely, not the formula itself, but the safe where it will be stored.
BNN already reported that on May 8, 1886, John Pemberton made the symbol of American culture, creating a soft drink which today is sold in more than 200 countries.
Recipe of the drink is a strictly protected secret which is transferred from generation to generation.
In the end of 1800s Coca-Cola was a typical quack product, in the time when many doctors tried to find medicine against different illnesses. Pharmacists and quacks were offering their medicine almost on every street corner.
Thinking that he had discovered a new medical “miracle”, pharmacist Pemberton called it Coca-Cola. In the first year the pharmacist on average sold nine glasses of drink per day, but beginning of the real fame was 1888 when the businessman Asa Chandler bought rights to sell this “medicine” as a refreshing soft drink.
Only within some years Coca-Cola became the most popular drink in America, but in 1919 it first appeared also in Europe. First in France, but in 1929 also in Germany.
