CONSTITUTION DAY MARKED IN “ODLAR YURDU”

A meeting dedicated to the Constitution Day took place on November 11 in Odlar Yurdu University.

Opening the meeting, rector of Odlar Yurdu Ahmad Veliyev congratulated the teaching staff and students on this remarkable day.

Rector told of the historical services of wise statesman Heydar Aliyev in drafting the first Constitution of Azerbaijan Republic approved by Azerbaian people on November 12 1995 through 12 November referendum and noted that the Principal law opens wide opportunities to build democratic and legal state.

Lingering around the accomplishments orator stated that the University’s staff would always support President Ilham Aliyev, worthy successor of Heydar Aliyev’s political course.

Other speakers also told of the significance of the first Constitution of Azerbaijan Republic and expressed their gratitude to its maker - Heydar Aliyev.
