A ceremony of giving prizes to the winners of the contest devoted to the 85th anniversary of establishing the Frontier troops took place at the central office of the State Frontier Service of Azerbaijan, August 16.

The contest conducted by the State Frontier Service included the following nominations: cinematography (documentary), musical art (march or song on frontier guards) and painting, coverage of the Frontier troops in the mass media.

Chief of the State Frontier Service, commander of Frontier Troops lieutenant-general Elchin Guliyev ordered to award representative of the State Broadcasting company Akif Tevekkul oglu, deputy chief editor-in-chief of “Republic” newspaper Nargiz Gurbanova and AzerTAj correspondent Mammad Musayev the presents and diplomas.
