COOPERATION BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN & PACE TO BE FURTHER DEVELOPED
Chairman of the standing commission of Milli Majlis for international and inter-parliamentary relations and member of Azerbaijan Parliamentary delegation at PACE Samad Seyidov dwelt on changes in the staff of delegation. He said that head of Parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was elected as President of the Republic and leadership of Azerbaijani Parliamentary delegation was temporarily laid on him. Chairman of the standing commission of Milli Majlis for legal policy and state building Ali Huseynov was moved from backup staff of PACE delegation to the main one.
Mr. Samad Seyidov stated that cooperation between Azerbaijan and PACE would be further developed.
Head of PACE delegation Andreas Gross expressed satisfaction with the changes and hoped that relations between Azerbaijan and the Organization would be highly developing. Then he requested to have exchange of views on Presidential elections held last month.
