CURRENCY RESERVE OF AZERBAIJAN INCREASING
Currency reserves of Azerbaijan having increased reached 2,2 billion dollars. This equals the country’s general export, the National Bank told.
Volume of the foreign trade in the Republic has increased by 700 million dollars. Till the end of 2005, the figure is expected to rise notably.
As the currency reserves have increased, the Republic has reduced its obligations before the International Monetary Fund. Of the 422 million dollars as debt have been repaid 250 million. And the rest is repaid within the schedule.
