Daniel Klemme of Synergy Baku finishes 2nd New Zealand Cycle Classic stage 2
Baku, January 31 (AZERTAC). Daniel Klemme, German cyclist of Azerbaijan`s first professional cycling team Synergy Baku nets 2nd place in bunch finish behind Dutchman Wouter Wippert (Drapac Cycling) at Stage 2 of New Zealand Cycle Classic 2014, started on January 29 with an individual time trial around the John F Kennedy Drive area and to finish with a mountain climb at the top of the Saddle Road on February 2, 2014.
The classic is recognized overseas as the road tour with the highest international standing in New Zealand.
Top national and professional riders from England, Singapore, Azerbaijan, Australia, the Netherlands, Ireland, Honk Kong and the best of New Zealand made up the field for the year`s biggest cycle tour in New Zealand.
As a result of 2 stages, Azerbaijan`s Daniel Klemme ranks 12th among 95 riders.
