DAY OF REPUBLIC MARKS IN BERLIN

Embassy of Azerbaijan to Germany gave reception on the occasion of the Day of Republic- May 28 at ’Maritime’ hotel, AZERTAC special-based correspondent reports.

The event brought together representatives of the state bodies and government of Germany, members of Bundestag, Ambassadors and Consuls of the foreign countries, Azeris residing and studying in this country.

Parviz Shahbazov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany told on the history of establishment and development of independent republic and its position on the world arena. He noted that German-Azerbaijani intergovernmental relations, diplomatic, political, economic, scientific-cultural ties were highly developing.

In conclusion, the guests familiarized themselves with the photo exhibition related to Gobustan reserve, inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage List.
