DEFENSE MINISTER VISITS BELARUS

Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev arrived for a two-day visit in Belarus on 27 August, AzerTAj correspondent reports from Minsk. He was met at the airport by Defense Minister of Belarus, Colonel-General Leonid Maltzev, official of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Belarus Ayyar Huseynov and other officials.

During the meeting, the Ministers discussed the issues related to military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries. On August 28, Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev left Belarus for homeland.
