DEVELOPMENT OF AZERBAIJANI-GERMAN RELATIONS SERVES WELFARE
Cordially welcoming the guests, Murtuz Aleskerov stated, “friendly relations between Germany and Azerbaijan are developing. The key role in development of these relations is played by Presidents of the two states. The documents, signed within the frames of official visit of the President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev to Germany in 1996, as well as agreements, achieved during the talks between Heydar Aliyev and Gerhard Schreder at the OSCE Istanbul summit in 1999, promoted further development of relations between the two countries”, press service of Milli Majlis reports.
Thanking for the cordial welcome, Mr. Sherf emphasized that he has arrived in Baku on the invitation of Azerbaijani Minister of Justice. He had been to Azerbaijan before, he said and stressed that he was delighted with legal reforms being carried out in Azerbaijan and spoke about visits of Azerbaijani lawyers to Barmen. Then discussed were other questions of mutual interest.
