DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIONS BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND HUNGARY DISCUSSED
As is informed to AZERTAC from the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, minister E. Mammadyarov, having welcomed the visitor, has noted that opening of embassy of Azerbaijan in Hungary rendered positive influence on development of links between two countries, and has thanked the Hungarian side for the assistance rendered in this question. Minister E. Mammadyarov has emphasized that in the history of Azerbaijan and the countries of the East Europe, including Hungary, there are much common.
The visitor, having noted that was pleased meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, and having touched questions of bilateral cooperation, has noted, that it is equitable to interests of both countries. Having stopped on cooperation in the field of safety, general - major Lajosh Galanbos has emphasized that it is necessary to give the answer to such global calls as the terrorism, smuggling of drugs, distribution of the mass destruction weapons, highly has estimated participation of Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in peace-making operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Minister E. Mammadyarov spoke of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict that is the basic problem of the country, having noted, that is necessary joint efforts to prevent similar problems.
The visitor promised to inform corresponding structures of the country on economic opportunities of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, also were discussed the bilateral questions representing mutual interest.
