EC REPS BECOME FAMILIAR WITH ANAMA OPERATIONS

According to the press-service of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), European commission representatives visited Fuzuli province to get acquainted with the ANAMA operations.

The visit results were discussed at the meeting held at the ANAMA office.

ANAMA director Namim Ismayilov updated the EC reps on the work the agency has done, future plans, issues of raising the mine safety awareness and help to people suffered from mines.

With EC representatives in attendance, the Society “Healing Hands” and ANAMA have sealed the first project on assistance to those suffered from mines. Under the project, the medical aid will be rendered to 120 persons.
