EXPORT OPERATIONS ON RISE

The amount of trade operations that residents and non-residents of Azerbaijan conducted with 117 countries totaled USD 4,138,586,500 for five months this year, State Customs Committee said. 1484 items of goods worth USD 2,472,465,600 were exported and 4749 items worth USD 1,666,120,900 imported.

Export operations increased by 133.49% year-on-year, while import fell by 5.87%. The decrease was driven by lower purchase of equipment, spare parts, products made of ferrous metals, furniture and meat produce.
