FIRST STAGE OF CISCO EXPO LEARNING CLUB PROJECT WRAPS UP
Baku, 9 September (AZERTAC). The first stage of educational project Cisco Expo Learning Club starting in February has come to an end. In total for half a year this program of Cisco Company has turned to a large-scale institute of improvement of professional skill of the IT experts, operating on the CIS territory. The Club unites more than 4 thousand experts from Azerbaijan, Germany, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Russia. It became possible, first of all, thanks to application of innovative solution of Cisco WebEx (www.webex.com) which allows to hold interactive seminars wihtin real time, trainings, conferences, relieving participants of necessity to waste time and means for trips.
Initiative of Cisco was supported also by other companies. The status of Cisco Expo Learning Club partners was received by 13 leaders of the IT Industry and IT Education. Together with them, Cisco has organised dozen of free and preferential training actions, as well as seminars, trainings, workshops in educational centres of Cisco.
During the period since February on the end of July in the frame of Cisco Expo Learning Club 24 seminars and 24 trainings with participation about 3000 IT experts have been organized. One-day educational seminars were broadcast on the Internet with application of Cisco WebEx trechnology. Clubmen have estimated advantages of online training in real time. The overwhelming majority of participants has taken advantage of such possibility.
