FIVE REGIONAL INFORMATION CENTERS OPEN
Regional information centers have been open in Kurdamir, Yevlakh, Shaki and Alibayramli in the framework of the Azerbaijan-UNDP joint project “National Strategy of Azerbaijan on Information and Communication Technologies and its Realization on the Initial Phase”. The centers have been supplied with 83 computers and servers, and other technical equipment. Six more centers of this kind are planed to be opened in the near future.
The regional Information Center opened the other day in Alibayramli has been equipped with 16 computers, server, printer, scanner and other equipment. In addition, the Center’s one-year access to the Internet as well as salaries of the instructors will be provided in the frame of the project.
One hundred and fifty men have been involved in classes divided into four age groups.
