Foreign Ministry: Points reflecting position of Azerbaijan have been fully ensured in November 26 Statement

“We welcome the results of the trilateral meeting held between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on November 26, 2021 in Sochi,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry as it commented on the meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia in Sochi.
“As a result of the meeting, points reflecting position of Azerbaijan have been fully ensured in the Statement signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the Russian Federation.
The speedy implementation of the projects aiming the revealing the economic potential of the region, including the opening of railways and highways highlighted in the Statement should be especially emphasized.
In the post-conflict period, Azerbaijan called for the full implementation of trilateral statements, the opening of all communications in the region, the start of the delimitation process between the two countries and spoke from the position of normalization of relations based on international law. Azerbaijani side will continue to take appropriate steps to implement the relevant points reflected in the November 26 Statement,” the ministry added.
