Dear Mr. President,

Azerbaijan is a country that can rightly be proud.

Thanks to the right policy of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev and your consistent, far-sighted, modern policy, Azerbaijan grew from a country in need of investment into a country that has invested millions in the fields of culture, social development, education, medicine, construction, road building, sports and others over the past 25 years since restoring its state independence. The accomplishments of independent Azerbaijan, its becoming a country which enjoys healthy competition with the leading world countries is a clear manifestation of how the government should be run.

Azerbaijan is a country which has its own successful model of multiculturalism, a model which offers alternative to nationalism, chauvinism, fascism and terrorism. “Azerbaijan's model of multiculturalism has been elevated to the level of state policy. This model must be studied and promoted all over the world." This idea was put forward at the recent 5th Baku International Forum. I would like to note that the key asset of your country is your people. They are hospitable, generous and friendly people who represent very different nationalities living in your wonderful country and proudly calling themselves Azerbaijanis.
