FRONTIER SERVICES SIGN BILATERAL AGREEMENT

Chief of the State Frontier Service of the Azerbaijan Republic, Frontier Troops Commander, General-lieutenant Elchin Guliyev met with a delegation of Russia led by Chief of Russian Federation’s Frontier Service under Federal Security Service General-colonel Vladimir Pronichev on March 17.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation and friendly links between the two Services, fight against illicit drug turnover, smuggling and illegal migration.

They also signed the plan of interaction between the troops and units of the State Frontier Service of the Azerbaijan Republic and those of the Frontier Service under Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was held in the atmosphere of the mutual understanding.
