GERMANY, AZERBAIJAN: RELATIONS EXPANDING
At words of the Ambassador, adviser to the foreign minister of Germany on the Russian Federation, South Caucasus and Central Asia, special envoy Norbert Baas will visit Baku from 23 to 26 November. He is expected to have discussions with the Azerbaijani officials on perspectives of bilateral cooperation, including consultations on security and defense prepared in the frame of the agreement between Germany and Azerbaijan. The German diplomat said that the German officer in retirement Ditrich Genschel would visit Azerbaijan from November 23 to December 2. The visit is bounded with issues of security and defenses, too.
Another delegation led by representative of the Federal ministry of economic development of Germany is to prepare the agenda of the German-Azerbaijani inter-governmental negotiations in Baku from 24 to 28 November. The delegation includes representatives of the foreign ministry, micro-credit Bank and Technical Cooperation Organization. The delegation will negotiate with representatives of the ministry of economic development and other officials of Azerbaijan.
