Google requires over 2000 new employees

Baku, November 22 (AZERTAC). Google, the owner of the world`s largest search engine, which recently announced that the Internet industry starts a “war for talent”, has posted a list of more than two thousand new jobs on the Internet.

Vacancies, which offer full employment, mainly include engineering positions. Besides that, the list includes employees in sales area. It is necessary to note that roughly half of the jobs are designed for U.S. residents. Over 50 professionals are required for Google in China, including over 50 professionals are required all over the world.

Google has increased the number of vacancies almost sixfold compared with March 2009.

Prior to the end of September 2010 Google had 23,300 employees, an 18% up compared to the beginning of the year.

According to Google spokesman Jordan Newman, over several years the company has regularly increased the number of vacancies and recruited specialists. The list of Google employees, posted on the web, is actual and being thoroughly checked, added Jordan Newman.
