Goyazan Mountain
Baku, April 3, AZERTAC
Goyazan mountain is in the northwestern Qazakh district of Azerbaijan. It is located in the vicinity of the villages Abbasbayli and Alpout, and rises 857.9 metres above sea level. Goyazan stands alone against a flat background of rolling fields and plains giving it a prominent appearance in the landscape. The strange beauty includes it in the list of places to visit in Azerbaijan.
Ruins of a Goyazan fortress from the 14th century were found near the mountain.
