Expenditure of the state budget for that period amounted to 2.581 trillion manat, which is 95.4% of the predicted target. However, that figure is 29.5% more than the index for January-July 2002.
The rough breakdown shows that 17.9% of the total sum of the expenditure went to education, 17.6% - social protection and protection, 22% - for the development of the economy, 9.5% for the maintenance of judiciary and law enforcement agencies, prosecutors and special forces, 0.7% on payment of membership dues to international organizations, 3.9% on health. Expenses on culture, mass media and religion for that period was 2.4% of the budget resources.
