GUAM Secretariat holds regular session of Working Group on fight against terrorism
Kiev, December 13 (AZERTAC). Under the chairmanship of the deputy chief of Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Z. Tavartkiladze the 13th session of the Working Group on fight against terrorism, organized crime and narcotics took place here. As reported by the site of GUAM Secretariat, in session speaking was the secretary general of GUAM Valery Chechelashvili, the chief of National Central Bureau of the Interpol in the Azerbaijan Republic, major general of police Sahib Mirzoyev, the first deputy of the head of Security Service of Ukraine, lieutenant general Vladimir Khimey, employees of law-enforcement and other competent bodies of the GUAM states, etc.
The parties have adopted the report of head of the Working Groups on the work done in 2010, and approved the plan of organizational-practical actions for 2011, having made various decisions, including "On working out of common system of indicators of legal statistics of GUAM members" and "About creation of working subgroups for 2011-2012".
At session also was coordinated the project of the plan of cooperation in sphere of training and retraining of personnel for law enforcement bodies of the GUAM states and key parameters of carrying out of action, in connection with introduction in operation of a hardware-software complex of enciphering in IP-packages, and considered a complex of other questions.
The next profile session is planned to be held in GUAM Secretariat in Kiev in May, 2011.
