Head of Turkish World Journalists' Association visits Azerbaijan Press Council
Baku, September 3 (AZERTAC). Menderes Demir, head of the Turkish World Journalists' Association (Turk Dunyasi Gazeteciler Federasyonu) has visited the Azerbaijan Press Council to meet its Chairman Aflatun Amashov. The sides discussed the question of consolidation of the journalists of the Turkish world, focused on implementation of the decisions made at the First Council of the Turkish World Journalists' Association in Eskishehir. Special attention was paid to the questions related to the propaganda of Azerbaijan’s fair stance in settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Aflatun Amashov and Menderes Demir stressed the necessity to strengthen activity of the Turkish World Journalists' Association, establish close contacts and deepen cooperation, organization of reciprocal visits of Azerbaijani and Turkish journalists in the years ahead.
