High-level Ministerial Panel held as part of 5th International Ethnosport Forum

The High-level Ministerial Panel under the theme “Ehtnosport as a driver for establishing and enhancing international partnership” has been held in Baku as part of the International Ethnosport Forum.
During the panel, moderated by President of the World Ethnosport Confederation Bilal Erdogan, Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoglu said that in these difficult days for the world, sport brings people together for peace and justice.
Other speakers at the panel session included Nigerian Minister of Youth and Sports Sekou Doro Adamou, General Director of the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports of Mexico (CONADE) Ana Gabriela Guevara Espinoza, Minister of Youth and Sports of Gambia Bakary Badjie. The speakers highlighted the importance of holding such events in terms of bringing together diverse ethnic cultures embodied and promoted by ethnosport.
The two-day Forum, organized by the World Ethnosport Confederation (WEC), aims at popularizing and increasing awareness of traditional sports and games.
The event will bring together 140 representatives from 14 WEC member countries.
