High Tech Park Azerbaijan elected member of World Technopolis Association

Azerbaijani High Tech Park established under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) was elected a member of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (The World Technopolis Association -WTA). In this connection, a membership certificate signed by President of the Association Kwon, Sun Taik has been received recently. Thus, Azerbaijan’s High-Tech Park has been elected an associate member of this prestigious association.
Founded in 1996, the WTA aims to connect advancement of science and technology with local development, to achieve a shared development through cooperation and exchanges among science cities. As an international organization whose members are mainly local governments, the WTA is planning to launch a number of programs to promote the regional development of the member cities and other cities around the world.
