HUNTING RULES TO BE TOUGHENED
Chairman of the Milli Majlis permanent commission for agrarian policy Eldar Ibrahimov said that the number of wild animals and birds drastically decreased, some close to extinction. it is connected to the lack of law on hunting. The draft law will stipulate the legal base for hunting, hunting economy etc.
In the course of debates, the deputies proposed to enlarge the reserves, set up national parks and toughen hunting rules. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyngulu Bagirov made it clear that for previous years, three national parks have been set up and this work is underway. Minister was positive as to toughening the hunting rules.
The bill was adopted in the first reading.
