IN FOCUS OF GERMAN TV CHANNELS
“The eminent statesman, bright and thoroughly strong person Heydar Aliyev died in 81. Heydar Aliyev holding the high offices in the Soviet Azerbaijan, then in Kremlin, and as President of the independent Azerbaijan within past period of his leadership has been always loyal to his native land and people, jointly with his people stood against all difficulties in these hard and tense periods, considered establishment of stability, peace and progress on Azerbaijani land as one of the important tasks in his activity. He recalled his candidature in favor of Ilham Aliyev at the October Presidential elections”, these words have been stating at the news of German TV channels, since December 12.
On the occasion of mourning, state flag was lowered in the building of Embassy of Azerbaijan in Berlin. Embassy of Azerbaijan accredited in the Federative Republic of Germany and the Netherlands, Switzerland and Luxemburg sent the note of information to the governments, foreign policy departments of these countries, foreign Embassies located in Germany.
