INSPECTION REVEALS SPURIOUS ALCOHOLIC DRINKS

Inspection carried out by the officers of the State Customs Committee and Ministry of Taxes in several wholesale points of Ganja, Barda, Tovuz, Agstafa and Gazakh regions has revealed a great number of undocumented alcoholic drinks illegally produced inside and outside the country under various trademarks. According to the Main Department on Combating Smuggling and Violation of Customs Regulations of the State Customs Committee, the drinks with forged excise marks were made of low-quality alcohol delivered from Georgia and realized in trade putlets of Ganja city, Barda, Tovuz, Agstafa and Gazakh regions.

Relevant bodies have launched an investigation into the case.
