The II International folklore conference on the topic “From the united Turkic past to the united Turkic future” under support of the Institute of Folklore of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan was continued at the arboretum of the Institute of Botanic of NAS in Mardakan, on March 19.

On the final sitting, in his report “Idea of the spiritual unity”, head of the Institute of folklore Huseyn Ismayilov told on importance of strengthening of the unity between the Turkic peoples.

He appreciated this arrangement as an important step for unity of our peoples, studying of the common past. He noted that about 70 reports narrating of folklore of the Turkic peoples were heard, published as a book and disseminated among the authors.
