ISSUES OF LABOR PROTECTION DISCUSSED AT TUCA SECOND SITTING
Deputy TUCA chairman Javanshir Alkhasov delivered a report on this issue. He told of the main directions of TUCA activity towards labor protection, health of workers and safety in operation. He said that over 6200 grievance on labor disputes, health protection, granting of compensations etc. have been lodged to TUCA for 1998-2003. Most of them were tackled in favor of applicants.
TUCA chairman, Milli Majlis deputy Sattar Mehbaliyev dwelt on goals set for trade unions towards labor protection.
The meeting admitted the metro workers and approved the powers of newly elected members.
Then, the sitting participants adopted an address to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The sitting was attended by executive officer of the Presidential Administration Arastun Mehdiyev, chairman of the Milli Majlis commission Hadi Rajabli, chairman of the National Employers Confederation Alakbar Mammadov and other officials.
