Iteca Caspian, Caspian Event Оrganiser to hold 11 international expos by end of year

Baku, August 26, AZERTAC

The organizers of international exhibitions and conferences, Iteca Caspian and Caspian Event Organisers (CEO), will hold 11 international exhibitions until the end of 2015. The themes of all these exhibitions will reflect the non-oil sectors of Azerbaijan's economy. The autumn exhibition calendar includes the Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition, BIHE; Azerbaijan International Stomatology Exhibition, Stomatology Azerbaijan; Azerbaijan International Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine Exhibition, Beauty Azerbaijan; as well as Education; Career; BakuBuild; AquaTherm Baku; CIPS Caspian; CTE and BakuTel exhibitions. Over the years, these exhibitions have gained a leading position in the Caspian region and have become a traditional meeting place for industry professionals. The 1st Azerbaijan Conference on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, Baku CSR Conference 2015, which will take place on the 15th of October in the Fairmont Baku Hotel, will open new areas of focus for the country. The Baku CSR Conference is a unique place that allows you to explore local and international practices in the field of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. The purpose of the debut conference is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current situation in the country, as well as to expand dialogue and cooperation between public, private and non-governmental organizations for the development of this sector. The conference, which is held and organized by Caspian Event Organisers (CEO), has aroused great interest among representatives from various business circles and will bring together over 300 delegates and 30 speakers. The general sponsor of the Baku CSR Conference 2015 is SOCAR, while the bronze sponsor of the event is Access Bank. The consulting partner of the conference is EY.

Iteca Caspian’s exhibitions, which will first open their doors in the autumn season, include the 21st Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition, BIHE 2015; the 10th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Stomatology Exhibition, Stomatology Azerbaijan 2015 and the 9th Azerbaijan International Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine Exhibition, Beauty Azerbaijan 2015. The exhibitions will be held from the 18th to the 20th of September at the Baku Expo Centre. The BIHE exhibition has been a traditional meeting place for industry professionals for over 20 years, demonstrating the achievements of the market for medical goods and services. More than 100 companies from 15 countries have already been enlisted among the participants. The Czech Republic will present a national stand. Some Russian pharmaceutical companies will also take part for the first time using a joint stand at the exhibition, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Thus, this year, around 60% of the BIHE participants will be foreign companies. Alongside the foreign manufacturers, the exhibition will be attended by major local distributors of medical equipment, which are partners of the world's largest producers. Among the local distributors are ARASH Medical, Besan, Vitta, Labservis and many others. The exhibition continues to help develop the medical tourism sector. Moreover, this year, more than 30 clinics and companies involved in the organization of medical treatment abroad are expected to attend, within the framework of this sector. Among them are representatives from clinics and health centres in Georgia, Israel, Latvia and Turkey. Turkish companies specializing in medical tourism will also take part for the first time with a separate joint national stand. Alongside the foreign clinics, sanatoriums and rest houses, travel companies that send people abroad for treatment will also participate at the exhibition. This year, the medical tourism sector will be supported by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB).

This year, the exhibition will offer an extensive business programme. As such, on the 18th September, the Baku Expo Centre will host a conference on Current Issues in Cardiology. The Conference is sponsored by pharmaceutical company KRKA (Slovenia). On the 19th of September, the 9th scientific and practical conference on Modern Methods of Diagnostics and Treatment in Midwifery, Gynaecology and Neonatology will be held in the Baku Expo Center. Experts will present the best of their practice at the Conference, which is supported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Public Association of Support for Gynecology and Perinatology. Another new aspect of the exhibition this year will be the organization of B2B meetings within the framework of the medical tourism sector.

The Stomatology Azerbaijan 2015 exhibition will present new items of dental equipment and consumables, the latest technology in implant dentistry, teeth whitening and oral hygiene. Companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, Canada, China, Russia, Turkey and other countries are expected to take part in the Beauty Azerbaijan 2015 exhibition. Traditionally, all visitors will meet with new companies and be met with the latest products from the industry, including interesting offers for professionals and salons. New products from the industry will be presented not only by foreign manufacturers, but also by local distributors who use the exhibition as a platform for announcing new Azerbaijani cosmetic and perfume lines.

It is no accident that all three exhibitions are held on the same site. The unique format of the united information and exhibition space of the three exhibitions creates new opportunities for the promotion of innovative products for practical medicine. It also attracts leading manufacturers of medical devices, equipment and medicines, as well as professionals working in the field of aesthetic medicine, government representatives and other business circles.

The next exhibition season will be continued by the following exhibitions: Education and Career (October 9-11), Caspian Construction Week: BakuBuild, AquaTherm Baku, CIPS (21-24 October), the 6th Azerbaijan International Environmental Exhibition “Caspian: Technologies for Environment”, CTE 2015 (November 18-20). Traditionally, the exhibition season will end with the Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference Telecommunications and Information Technologies, BakuTel 2015 (December 2-5). This exhibition season will feature an active business programme, which includes a number of workshops, presentations and conferences.

Thus, the capital city of Azerbaijan once again awaits a rich season of specialized exhibitions and conference. The availability of exhibitions around the country as a whole, and especially during the global economic crisis, is a major indicator of how the country's economy is a major player in the international market. Despite the global crisis, world exhibitions are one of the most effective ways of getting out of it. The crisis has stimulated a desire to receive first-hand information and personally establish and maintain business contacts, as well as to compare and choose the best offers and products. An opportunity to meet industry professionals, respective CEOs, employees with decision-making powers, reliable partners and find new areas of business, as well as to keep abreast of industry innovations, is all possible at trade fairs. All the exhibitions are held with official support from the state structures of the Republic of Azerbaijan. A number of projects will also be carried out with the support of international unions and industry associations. Currently, the sponsors of the autumn exhibitions in 2015 include leading companies such as: AccessBank, Eurodesign, KRKA, NB Group, Qazax Sement Zavodu (Qazakh Cement Plant), SOCAR, and many others. The official partners of all exhibitions in 2015 are: SafeLife, the security partner, the official hotels Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel and Qafqaz Point Hotel and tour operator Greenwich Travel Club. The exhibitions are free for visitors. For more information about all the exhibitions and the services that they provide to visitors and participants, please visit the websites www.iteca.az  and www.ceo.az , as well as the official exhibition pages on social networks.
