A presentation of the Jalil Mammadgulizade Prize took place at the conference hall of the Yasamal municipality, AzerTAj correspondent reported.

Opening the ceremony, Yasamal municipality chairman Ilgar Aliyev told of the importance of the contest in selecting winners and congratulated the prizewinners. He reminded that Yasamal municipality and the house-museum of Jalil Mammadgulizadeh announced a contest in three nominations a few months ago. Jury has selected the winners according to the works presented.

The first prize went to Abid Tahirli in the nomination Best Scientific-Journalistic Work while Azer Aliyev got the first prize in the nomination “Best satiric tale, feuilleton and verse”. No author was awarded the first prize for “Best Caricature”.

Winners got diplomas and money.

Jury decided to present diplomas to four participants.

Director of the house-museum Jalil Mammadgulizade Perikhanum Mahmudova, Yasamal municipality member Tamilla Rustamova, Prof. Kheirulla Mammadov congratulated the winners.
