Kazakh delegation explores Azerbaijan’s judicial system

A Kazakhstani delegation led by Kanat Musin, Acting Rector of the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council of Kazakhstan, is visiting Azerbaijan.
The delegation first visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and then the Alley of Martyrs and the Victory Monument.
As part of the visit, a series of meetings and familiarization activities were organized to provide the delegation with deeper insight into Azerbaijan’s judicial system.
The delegation also familiarized itself with an ongoing training course for judicial candidates at the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice and held discussions with the Academy’s representatives.
During a meeting at the Ministry of Justice with Deputy Minister Toghrul Huseynov, the sides discussed the current state of legal cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on joint initiatives, including training programs between justice academies and the exchange of experience.
The Turkish Judicial Training Network under the Organization of Turkic States and other specialized platforms were highlighted as important mechanisms for experience sharing. The meeting also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in legal education, research, and the digitalization of the justice system.
The delegation also visited the Museum of Justice History. Meetings at the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan and a visit to the Yasamal District Court in Baku are also planned.
