KAZAKHSTAN TO CREATE NAVY IN CASPIAN

Responding to the question on creation of navy at the Caspian, the defense minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Altinbayev said that Kazakhstan attaches a serious importance to creation of Navy in the Caspian and this Navy would be formed in 2010-2015s.

At his words, the Navy will be created by assistance of the US and Great Britain, and will maintain control on the marine, surface and air space of the Caspian.

“Kazakhstan will not use this Navy against any Caspian coastal state”, defense minister of Kazakhstan stressed.
