Klitschko: `Not even a baseball bat can help Adamek`

Baku, August 27 (AZERTAC). WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has written off challenger Tomasz Adamek`s chances when the pair meet in the Municipality Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland on September 10.

Speaking at his media workout earlier this week, Klistchko joked that not even a `baseball bat` could help his opponent when asked how Adamek could defeat him in the ring.

In response to his manager Bernd Boente`s suggestion that Polish boxer Adamek would need a gun to overcome Vitali on fight night, Dr. Ironfist quipped, `I don`t think police will let him bring the gun. Maybe a baseball bat? No, not even this can help him!`

Klitschko did go on to praise his opponent however calling him the best fighter out there, adding, `I`m sure that Adamek will be very well prepared. He will be tough man in the ring and we will see who is better - challenger or champion.

`With a good rival, you can always present fans with great show and right now, Adamek is the best fighter I can fight. He has brilliant skills and speed. I`m watching his fights every day. It won`t be easy, but I`ll be ready. I don`t know how anybody can beat me.`
