‘Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have a great potential’

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Aidjigit Buranov has met with a delegation of Caspian Energy chaired by President and Editor-in-Chief of Caspian Energy International Media Group Natalya Aliyeva.
The meeting focused on different topics of cooperation within the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) and Caspian Energy International Media Group, as well as the possibility to expand contacts on the information level.
The Ambassador stressed the Caspian Energy Journal is a rather bulky, consistent and informative publication. “Caspian Energy broadly elucidates oil-gas sector development, Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference for which opening President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received congratulation messages from the leaders of the USA and UK. This is the indicator of great respect towards Azerbaijan, its achievements and value in the international market”, the Ambassador said.
The Ambassador expressed interest in a further cooperation between the Caspian European Club (Caspian Business Club) and the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz companies.
“We are very pleased that Grand Prix of Europe Formula 1 has successfully completed. It once more testifies to the popularity of the country. In the post-Soviet space only few states host such competitions. In addition, F1 in Baku is a unique case of combining the contemporary reality and the old town, it is the harmony witnessed with by 500 million viewers. The country welcomed lots of tourists. We are very happy for our fraternal nation of Azerbaijan”, Aidjigit Buranov said.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan is planning to open a Trading House in Azerbaijan. “Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have a great potential, but the trade relations are not on a proper level yet, so we conduct negotiations to make it more interesting for businesses of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan to develop the economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan”, he stressed.
The two countries are enjoying the excellent cooperation in the sectors of tourism and culture. “The Fund of the Cultural Heritage of the Turkic Speaking Countries has been established, and the strong inter-parliamentary co-operation is in place. The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States has been established and is currently well operating on the initiative of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. The operation of the Council of Elders is also well-established”, the Ambassador said.
He expressed his gratitude to the political leadership of Azerbaijan, first of all, to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the trust and warm attitude, the willingness to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan, the Ambassador stressed.
“On our part, we are always ready for cooperation”, Aidjigit Buranov said.
At the end of the meeting the Ambassador gave his exclusive interview to Caspian Energy. In the interview he touched on the possibility o develop the bilateral relations and boost the economic and investment cooperation, spoke about the prospects of development of the energy market, and dwelt on the development of the tourism sector and energy cooperation.
