On September 9, charge' d'affaire of the Bureau of Social People’s Libyan Arabic Jamahiriya in Azerbaijan Republic Mustafa Mohammed Shahmur held an official reception at ‘Gulistan’ Palace on the occasion of national holiday of his country - Day of Revolution.

Speaking at the reception, Mustafa Mohammed Shahmur emphasized that 34 years ago glorious victory of revolution led by Muammar Kaddafi, brought freedom to Libya.

Touching upon Libyan-Azerbaijani relations, the diplomat said: ‘We make efforts for strengthening of relations between our countries in all fields. Libyan Jamahiriya will always support Azerbaijan people, striving for peaceful liberation of the occupied territories’.

Official reception has been attended by Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ziyafat Askerov, Minister for Foreign Affairs Vilayat Guliyev, Head of the department of foreign relations of President’s Executive Office Novruz Mammadov, deputies of the Milli Majlis, foreign ambassadors in Azerbaijan and other officials.
