LIFE IN VILLAGES CHANGES
Land was passed to those who work on it; roads have been accomplished, attention towards solution of social problems raised. It caused the fact that a number of families have settled in that territory, bordering on aggressive neighbor, Armenia.
Chairman of the Supreme Majlis (Parliament) of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Taliov visited a farm in that spot of the republic - Nabi Yurdu - owned by Fikret Abdullayev, met with people of the village. It was marked that land plots were given to 500 locals’ ownership. The conditions are favorable for potato and vegetable growing, cattle farming and beekeeping. If landlords are given long-term credits, different fields of agriculture could be developing better, farmers said.
