MAIN POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS
Baku Main Police Department told AzerTac that the opposition parties – members of the structure, which calls itself ‘Opposition Coordination Center’ and a number of non-member opposition parties held, August 2, 2003, a procession-meeting sanctioned by the Baku Executive Power, which started from ’20 January’ metro station and went down the Hasanbek Zardabi street to the square in front of the building of State Film Fund in Yasamal district. The action lasted from 5.00 to 6.30 p.m. was attended by some 2500 people and supporter of the mentioned parties.
No facts of outrage or breach of peace took place.
