MAYOR OF BUCHAREST VISITS HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION
The visitors familiarized themselves with the photo exposition, documents and books reflecting different periods of great leader Heydar Aliyev’s life as well as activities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Nekulay Ontsanu highly appreciated Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s activity towards realization of famous political figure Heydar Aliyev’s ideas and wished every success in further activities to Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Milli Majlis deputy, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador.
Then, a meeting with mayor of Bucharest was held.
Executive director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov welcomed the delegation on behalf of the President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.
Nekulay Ontsanu said Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the title Honorary Citizen of the sector 2 of Bucharest, and presented the relevant document and badge as well as national costume of Romanian woman.
A. Alakbarov presented to the Mayor the book on Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s activity in 2005-2006 and musical album “Karabakh Khanendeleri” (Karabakh Singers).
The Mayor was accompanied by Siyavush Novruzov, executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party, Eldar Hasanov, ambassador of Azerbaijan to Romania and Nikolae Ureke, Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan.
