MEETING AT MILLI MAJLIS
Opening the meeting Arif Rahimzadeh congratulated the participants on resuming their parliamentary activities, and told of the tasks ahead.
Chief of the Milli Majlis Administration Safa Mirzoyev provided detailed information on the plan of legislative actions during the fall session in 2004. He announced that the session would discuss a number of draft laws including those submitted by the President of the Republic, as well as legal documents related to commitments to the Council of Europe.
Commission Chairs Ali Huseynov, Sattar Safarov, Eldar Ibrahimov, Shahlar Askarov, Hady Rajabli, Zahid Garalov, Asya Manafova, Samad Seyidov and deputy chair Rabiyyat Aslanova shared their views on the matter and advanced proposals.
Summarizing the meeting, first deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Arif Rahimzadeh touched on the issues related to improving the plan of legislative actions during the fall session and specifying the terms of the draft laws preparation.
It was decided that the plan of legislative actions during the 2004 fall session would be reconsidered not later than September 1.
