MEETING OF PROTEST HELD IN STRASBOURG
Participants of the action with placards in their hands “We demand fulfillment of the Resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884 of the UN Security Council”, and slogans on Karabakh. Special leaflets in French and English languages were distributed among the PACE deputies. The leaflets contained detailed information on occupation of 20 percent of the territories of Azerbaijan, a CE member state, by another CE member-state, Armenia, on one million refugees and IDPs living in hard conditions, on the Khojali tragedy, other genocide crimes towards Azerbaijanis committed by the Armenians.
The leaflets also contained demand from the Council of Europe, as human rights guarantor, reject from the position of observer towards destiny of over one million of Azerbaijanis, and using every opportunity exert serious influence on Armenia.
