MILITARY EXERCISES HELD SUCCESSFULLY
As AzerTAj correspondent informs, ceremony of closure of multinational command-staff peacemaking exercises with the involvement of “Peace Shield-2003” troops was held in the Yavorivskiy ground of Western operative command of the Ukrainian Land Forces.
About 1000 militaries from 20 world countries, including Azerbaijan, participated in the exercises. The measures on control over crowd and guarding of captives, release of hostages, rendering aid to refugees and fight with soldiers of the illegal armed units were exercised.
In addition, peacemaking tasks were solved on computer. On July 22, the militaries will be sent to the places of their permanent dislocation.
