MILLI MAJLIS MEMBERS ARE BACK
Milli Majlis (Parliament) members, members of the Presidium of South-Caucasian parliamentary initiative group Gular Akhmedova and Agabey Asgarov took part in the session of this organization recently held in Riga and Vilnus.
Public and political situation in the South Caucasus, the ways of resolution of regional conflicts, termination of obstacles blocking development of inter-state relationships, the experience of Latvia’s joining the Euro-Atlantic structures and other issues were discussed at the sessions, Milli Majlis reports.
During the visit, deputies held meetings in Parliaments of Latvia and Lithuania, acquainted with the experience of higher legislative organs and the activities of the Baltic Parliamentary Assembly.
