MM DELEGATION TO PARTAKE IN PACE SPRING SESSION
The spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will commence April 16 in Strasbourg. The delegation of Azerbaijan will include Samad Seyidov, chairman of the Milli Majlis standing commission on international relations and interparliamentary ties, head of the MM delegation to the PACE, Ali Huseynov, chairman of the MM standing commission on legal policy and state building as well as MPs Gultakin Hajiyeva, Rafael Huseynov, Ganira Pashayeva and Sabir Hajiyev.
Issues on the draft agenda include Azerbaijan’s and Monaco’s honouring of obligations and commitments, state of human rights and democracy in Europe, improvement of PACE’s monitoring procedure, Montenegro’s accession to the Council of Europe, the suppression of counterfeiting and the quality of medicines in Europe, Council of Europe convention on the suppression of counterfeiting and trafficking in counterfeit goods.
Azerbaijani MPs will report on Azerbaijan’s commitments and obligations.
The trip will end on April 21.
